When lighting a child’s bedroom it is a good idea to use directional spots, to highlight certain areas, whether it’s a baby’s changing table or a feeding or reading chair. Make sure you use a dimmer switch so that you can change the mood of the room, especially when it’s bedtime or you want the children to play quietly in their rooms. Have a children’s plug in night light with a very low wattage to keep an eye on them without disturbing them and for going to the toilet, especially useful if they share a room or are scared of the dark.
